The Law of Sustainable Growth - Eric Ries
Sustainable growth is characterized by one simple rule:
New customers come from the actions of past customers.
1. Word of mouth.
2. As a side effect of product usage.

4. Through repeat purchase or use.
An Extracted Tacit Mental Model of Business Expertise by Cedric Chin
The implication is that if you want to get really good at business, you should systematically acquire skills in each of the three categories, specific to your particular business, and then — more importantly — grok the relationships between the three categories.
AreopagusVolume LXVII by The Culture Tutor - specifically the Seventh Plinth The Purpose of Decoration

Listening
I’m a self-admitted Munger fanboy, so finding out he agreed to do a podcast was a pretty exciting way to start the week. Here are a few quick thoughts before I type up a dedicated post. One, Charlie Munger has a potty mouth. Lol. Two, I’m working “piss ant” into conversations at every opportunity. Third, while this episode was chock-full of insights and advice, I’m not sure that Munger, at 99 years old, can truly live up to the mythical/legendary status he’s garnered, but I encourage you to listen and judge for yourself.
Random
Upper decky extravaganza! I’m running an n-of-1 experiment on nicotine for enhancing cognition. Stay tuned for observations and results.
Until next week.
Stay spirited, stay resilient.
